What Could Be The Reason For Having Sore Throat, Headache, Fainting, Feeling Sick And Shivering?

Hello, I have a really sore throat, headache, feel sick and faint every time I stand up. Been bed bound for two days now, cant eat anything and my body feels really hot but I've got really bad shivers every now and then. My friend suggested it could be a virus, what do you think? Nicky.

Hi Nicky. All these symptoms are suggestive of viral infection. What worries me is the fainting you are getting on standing up. This again can occur due to viral infection, but also from low blood pressure too.
