What Could Be The Reason For Having Specks Of Blood In Urine?

I just had my yearly physical and urine analysis. I was told that there was a couple of specks of blood in the urine. What would cause this? The doctor suggested that I have another test in about ten days. Everything else was normal and my cholesterol was perfect.

Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Actually, blood in urine can be from any part in the urinary system from kidneys right to urethra. They just need to collect your urine in 3 different glasses (beginning of urination, middle and at the end) and analyze to know where blood is coming from. From there, the cause can easily be identified.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
