What Could Be The Reason For Having Tickling Feeling In My Head After A Total Hip Replacement?

Hi,
I recently (5 weeks ago) had a total hip replacement. This might be totally unrelated but I am getting strange feelings in my head. When I'm upright it's just like a tickle but when I have my head against something (pillow) it feels like something has moved across my head.
I also have strange chemical smells which seem like they're inside my nose. (chemical)
I thought this might be from the anesthetic whilst in hospital so not too concerned just unusual.
Thanks Debby

Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Unusual smell in nose can occur due to trauma of intubation/ryles tube feeding or side/after effects of medicines.

Starnge feeling in head appear due to somatic symptoms of anxiety and stress considering recent history total hip replacement. If it persist after even after 1-2 months then you can visit nearby physician.
