What Could Be The Reason For Having Tickling Feeling In My Head After A Total Hip Replacement?
Hi, I recently (5 weeks ago) had a total hip replacement. This might be totally unrelated but I am getting strange feelings in my head. When I'm upright it's just like a tickle but when I have my head against something (pillow) it feels like something has moved across my head. I also have strange chemical smells which seem like they're inside my nose. (chemical) I thought this might be from the anesthetic whilst in hospital so not too concerned just unusual. Thanks Debby
Unusual smell in nose can occur due to trauma of intubation/ryles tube feeding or side/after effects of medicines.
Starnge feeling in head appear due to somatic symptoms of anxiety and stress considering recent history total hip replacement. If it persist after even after 1-2 months then you can visit nearby physician.
