What Could Be The Reason For Itching In Vagina After Sex?

a couple of days ago me and my boyfriend had sex. After that my vagina has been itchy/irritated. Today i went to the restroom and wiped then looked and there was a little spotting. And im still irritated down there. Also im on the depo shot. What could be wrong?
