What Could Be The Reason For My 20 Month Old Daughter Hiccups ?

My 20 month old daughter woke up this morning at 6 AM with cough and threw up a bit, then again she threw up at 8 AM and 8.30 AM. She had hiccups and then she spit up and the hiccups stopped after spitting. At 8.30 AM she had some fruit and she had hiccups, then threw up and the hiccups stopped. Please tell me what could be the reason for this?

Thanks for the query. Your 20 months old might be suffering from gastritis. PPI syrup might help if it continues then please meet a pediatrician. Have a healthy living
