What Could Be The Reason For On And Off Pain In Shoulder Blade, Chest And Back?

I have had on and off for a few days pain in my left shoulder chest and back. I had a bad fall last year, and broke my humerous. I am concerned though about the pain in my left shoulder blade, it s like toothache, it goes off during the day. Not getting it every day, but often enough.

Hi,

This may be most probably due to musculoskeletal cause. If the fracture has not united or improperly united then also the pain will persists. So better to check for it.
Since the pain is in chest and back, better to get evaluated for any cardiac or pancreatic cause with echo cardiogram and USG abdomen. If no problem then NSAID like Ketorolac and muscle relaxant will help you.

Regards
