What Could Be The Reason For Recurrence Of Cancerous Lump In Belly Button?

My mother in law had surgery for a lump in the belly button in Mexico. A few days later they cleaned the wound and more lumps came out. They were tested and said they were canerous but they all gone. Now 3 weeks later she is back in the hospital with another lump. What could this be?

Hi...better show to an oncologist... there maybe a cancer inside her abdomen too which they are missing and which is causing recurrence...
