I am 74 year old, and I am very clean I live in in city on ocean and used to walk bare feet trough water and swim also, but now rarely cause of this infection I applied "first aid antibiotic ointment " In beginning its cure but again appears. I noticed today in my right feet.I would appreciate if you can tell me what is that and how I am going to cure that. Thank you in advance.
Hello I think you are suffering from fungal infection in between toes. It is the dermatophytic fungal infection due to continuous exposure to water. I will advise you to avoid prolonged contact with water, wear chappals while walking, keep the toes dry. I will advise you to consult dermatologist and take his opinion, you have to use ointment for three weeks and drugs for few days. I hope you understood, take care and get well soon.
