What Could Be The Reason For Sharp Pain Under Right Rib Cage, Shoulder Blade Pain And Smelly Urine?
I have been experiencing a burning sharp pain under my right rib cage, and just above my right hip bone. If I push on the pain it causes a sharp chest pain. I have had horrible shoulder blade pain as well, and strange smelling urine. It hurts even more after I eat anything. Please help me find answers.
Hi, thank you for writing to healthcare Magic. With this presentation, I think the problem is at the level of the liver and more specifically gallbladder (cholecystitis). This is an inflammation of gallbladder. This seems to be in favor if this. Also, a kidney infection may present with some of these symptoms. To be certain about it, a thorough clinical assessment is needed and some tests. I my opinion, I would suggest that you consult a GP for proper assessment.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
