What Could Be The Reason For The Pregnancy Strip Showing Positive?

hello, i started taking norethisterone 5 mg once daily to delay my periods from 8 days. my period was supposed to be on 10th of October. i did not get till 12th, and on emergency i started taking the above drug due to religious occasion. today when i tested with pregnancy strip at home, it showed positive. is the result due to the drug i am taking or i am pregnant. please help me.

Positive reaction on a pregnancy strip would mostly indicate that you could be pregnant.
Kindly get the following tests done to know the status:
1. Blood for beta HCG levels.
2. Transvaginal Ultrasound Scan (TVS).
Kindly consult Gynecologist with the reports for evaluation and appropriate management.
