What Could Be The Reason For Tiny Red Blood Like Spots On Skin, chest And Tummy Area ?

I am a healthy 55 year old caucasian female, and I am not on any medications. I have noticed tiny red blood like spots on my skin especially my chest and tummy area. I go for a physical (usually) annually and I think my doctor looked at these and identified them. What could the name of the issue be?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
From the description it seems you are probably having cherry angioma or Campbell de Morgan spots. These are very commonly seen benign lesions and the frequency of occurence increases with age. As such no treatment is required for the same, however if looks aesthetically unpleasant may get it cauterised.
Hope this helped.
Take care
