What Could Be The Reason Of Painful Walking And Hard Numb Bruise On Shin After An Injury?

I was kicked on my left shin toward the inside right below my knee. The bruise came up just minutes after this happened and now it is very painful to walk, the bruise itself is numb, very hard, and warm to the touch. I can't remember ever having a bruise do this. Could it be more going on with it?

Hi
Thanks for writing your query
After going through the brief description of yours. The swelling and bruise is because of injury to periosteum that is sheath present around the bone. This swelling takes time to resolve 2-3 weeks.Meanwhile continue with rest, ice fomentation, ibuprofen and trypsin to reduce pain and swelling. If the pain and swelling persists, its better to get x ray done.
Hope this information helps you.
Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
