What Could Be The Reasons To Have A Big Lump In The Scalene Muscle Area?

hello, I am curios about what feels like a big lump in the scalene muscle area, attached to either my spine or where there should be flat muscle and it feels as though the lump goes down my spine constricting me to certain turning an twisting motion due to pain in my chest and back at the same time. The lump is big enough to feel the top of the shoulder muscle(close to the neck/throat area, and it wrapps around to the back of my spine. As I feel how deep the lump goes down the middle of my body, I can feel it as far as I can push down the middle of my body through the neck/shoulder pit muscle. Before, I thought that a tore a muscle in my chest, through to my back but the orthopedic assured me that there is no muscle that connects from the chest through to the back. I am now convinced that I tore part of the cartilage or muscle that surround my spine (that allows the muscles to move properly as the spine communicates with the body. I am not sure if it is just bad scar tissue but this whole feeling just makes me literally feel sick, or poisoned. I m worried a cyst could have formed from this chest and back injury I had about 11 years ago. My pain management doctor is helping me to find the actual injuries but I am concerned that this lump that I can feel as I breath as if it is a piece of an object that goes down along the inside of my body, close to my spine, but I don t know how I can help myself seek for a specialty doctor that can assist me right away in the area of concern. Things seem to be moving at the pace of my pain management doctor and I only get to see her once a week, and I honestly feel like I literally dying sometimes. Do you have any advice for me.
