ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, sensation of lump in throat is a common complaint and most of the times there is nothing abnormal in throat which is there on examination. Causes can be many with common being reflux, anaemia, post nasal drip due to any cause, osteophytes in the cervical vertebrae lymphoid follicles over the posterior pharyngeal wall. If you ENT examination is normal and endoscopy is fine, please see that Hb is in normal or near normal range. If all the test are normal, please take a course of proton pump inhibitors, along with mucain gel. Also dietary modifications like avoidance of spicy, fried and junk food helps. Regards
