What Could Be The Sharp Pain In Upper Chest Above Breast?
I am 24 years old. I have a sharp pain that is located in my upper left chest above my breast. Everytime I take a deep breath, it hurts This started about 8 hours ago. Within the past hour, it is starting to hurt just breathing normally. It also hurts when I lay down. Could this be gas?

as youare saying you are having left sided chest pain for the last 8 hrs which increaseon taking deep breadth
it could be any of the following
1.pleuritic pain-pneumothorax /leural effusion
2.cardiac origin -if associated with palpitations and sweating
3.gastritis
so iwould suggest you tovisit your nearby hospital for getting xray/ecg if pain not relieved by taking antacids
as youare saying you are having left sided chest pain for the last 8 hrs which increaseon taking deep breadth
