Hi, I can understand your concern for small, whitish bump on clitoral hood which is itching and causing discomfort. There are two possibilities in your condition: 1. Ingrown hair:This can be due to basically infection and inflammation of hair roots and the attached oil glands. It can get infected due to heat humidity and poor hygiene. 2. Molluscum contagiosum with secondary infection: If you are sexually active and had intercourse without protection then this can be a possibility. The most important precaution to follow is to not to try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem and spread of the infection. For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablets such diclofenac or paracetamol. If it is increasing despite the treatment then meet a dermatologist or any family physician and get a proper diagnosis. Take care.
