What Could Be The The Reason For Swollen Legs, Bloating And Colics?

hi doctor I have a question see i had got the depo shot i got it every 3 months i started last year in aug. and the last shot was in june. But i got my tubes tide the last week of july2013 and i still havent got my period my legs get swollen and i get alot of bloating and colics

It is unusual not to have had your period this long after your last shot of depo. However, sometimes it can take up to 9 months from the last shot before your periods return, and that would be in march of this year. If your period still doesn't return by then, you need to see your doctor to get tested for other hormonal disorders such as thyroid hormone, prolactin hormone, and others. I am not aware of any connection between colic and the hormonal disorders that can cause a delayed period, However, some thyroid disorders may cause bloating.
