What Could Be The Underlying Reason For Vericocele?

I have varicocele , it has of late become a lot more uncomfortable .. I have worn a jock strap for the last couple of weeks , which has helped some but It becomes quite painful at night... This has become very worrying & I am wondering if there could be a more underlying issue??....

Hello and welcome to HCM,
In order to know the cause of varicocele, you need to know about the structure of testis.
The testis is drained by a plexus of veins.
These veins get dilated and engorged with blood.
The pressure in the veins is also raised.
The condition is painful and is relieved by strapping.
However strapping provides only symptomatic relief. The definitive treatment is surgery.

Thanks and take care
