What Could Be The Yellow Looking Crust On Her Ear Lobe And Back Of Ear Which Itches?
my daughter has a yellow looking crust on her ear lobe that doesn t seem to improve no matter what we do, we thought that it was her earrings but it is only on one ear and seems to be spreading up the back of her ear. she states that it itches and it is also quite red but with no apparent swelling, what could she possibly have wrong?

As an ENT specialist, I suspect cyst or abscess on ear lobe which can be secondary to ear piercing. I recommend use of local and systemic antibiotics depending on condition.
I would also suggest you to visit nearby ENT specialist and get the treatment done.
