Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

May I know what is the age of your son?
Younger person although have less chances of Anginal pain however we can not neglect possibility.

Go for exercise stress test (Treadmill test) to detect if heart is functionally normal or not.

Also get lipid profile done. Sometimes genetic abnormalities can lead to hypercholesterolemia which is prime cause of atherosclerosis.

If these investigations are normal then no need to worry.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards
Dr. Hiren
