What Could Be Wrong If Feeling Lightheaded And Dizzy After Colonoscopy?

I have an 75 year old aunt who recently had a colonoscopy done about four weeks ago. Following this test she began getting lightheaded and dizzy. She has felt it more today and is afraid to bend done or drive in fear she may pass out. Should she be seen by a doctor?

Hi,

I really appreciate your concern, lightheaded and dizzy feel may not be due to colonoscopy done but it could be due to either vestibular dysfunction, or it could be due to hyperacidity these condition need to be differentiated but it bit difficult so what is being done that these two condition usually being treated together with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and Tab Betahistine 8 mg three times in day, still for better advise and proper diagnosis she needs to be seen by doctor.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
