Hello,

I have studied your case.

Bakers cyst is benign swelling and not cancerous growth.
Benign swelling giving rise to pain can be excised.
So if it is painful ask your doctor to excise it ,but there can be chances of recurrence.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
