What Could Bleeding From Rectum After Abortion Mean?

my daughter had an abortion 4 weeks ago at 20 weeks pregnant, i didnt know. it did not go well she was in the hospital for 4 days, cuz they cud not stop her bleeding. she cud of lost her life or her uterus. she had lots of blood trafusions. she then came home but is taking iron pills and stoll softners. but now she is bleeding from her rectum every time she goes to the restoom. what cud be wrong?

hi healthcare magic user, their could be rectal injury during abortion that could be cause for persistent bleeding.
It's better to discuss with the doctor who had performed abortion because he/she must be aware of difficulty in abortion.
