Hello,

I can understand your concern for GI symptoms:

1) You must have confirmation of H.Pylori infection before starting treatment. Therefore upper GI endoscopy with RUT test for H. Pylori infection is must.

2) If this comes positive then you must extend treatment for H.Pylori or re-start the treatment.

3) Most of times patients develop indigestion related symptoms along with this infection. Therefore intestinal digestive enzyme supplementation is recommended to support digestion.

4) Also you require treatment for acidity for long duration.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.Have a nice day!

Regards,
