What Could Brownish-pink Discharge Three Weeks After LMP Indicate?
My LMP ended on April 10th, on April the 19th I had some brownish and some pinkish discharge for 3 days. Now since then I have had some cramping nothing horrible just noticible. Also, I have been SO fatigued I can barely get through the day without falling asleep in the chair. I had my tubes tied with my son on Halloween in 2014. Should I take a HPT?
Brownish pink discharge after 3 weeks of periods with cramping & fatigue may be indicative of early pregnancy (implantation bleeding). Though rare, but it is possible to be pregnant after tubal ligation when the fallopian tubes have grown back together overtime. However the other causes of such symptoms are PID, STI, BC pills, BV etc.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get urine, blood test done to confirm pregnancy. You may require to do USG uterus to find any pathology causing discomfort. Your treatment will depend on the clinical examination & severity of the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
