General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Throat pain during swallowing could be the symptoms of upper respiratory infection or allergic bronchitis etc.

You can check your blood investigations, ESR and sptum if it comes in coughing.

You should take symptomatic treatment like 1)bronchodilators (steroids, alpha agonists, anticholinergics),
2) anti-allergic ( antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers) with
3) analgesics if there is pain.

You must take full course of antibiotics
(quinolones or macrolides preferred) for at least 5 to 7 days to prevent any super-infection.

Avoid cold water or drinks.

Take steam inhalation and steroid nebulizers regularly or till the infection subsides.

Avoid exposure of dust and consult ENT specialist for further advise.

Regards,
