What Could Burning, Dry Lips With Red,dry And Puffy Eyes Indicate?

About 6 weeks ago I saw my doctor because my lips were burning, and very dry. He had no idea what it was. I have not changed diet or routine with lotion or makeup. Since then my eye lids have been chapped and all around my mouth very dry and now under my eyes they are super dry, puffy and red. What is going on do you think. Only my face is affected. Thank you

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query.The symptoms you describe in your query is clear indication of allergic reaction.There can be many reasons for allergy like chemicals we use on our face in the form of facewash , makeups or some times air borne also.

I would suggest you to spot the use of aal the products you are using on your face .Tke over the counter antihistamine drug like benadryl. Wash your face with simple water several times a days and drink plenty of water to maintain hydration of your body.

You can also clean your face with Toleriane cleanser which is free from irritants and apply simple petroleum jelly .

If condition persists for more then 2 days or get worse consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis to rule out other conditions ,so that he/she can tell you the exact cause and treat it accordingly.
