What Could Burnt Marks On Roof Of Mouth Indicate?

Hi, I was eating lasanga 2 days ago but it was not that hot. I am guessing I burned my mouth but I didn t feel any pain or think that it was hot at all. I woke up the next morning and I now have burn marks on the roof of my mouth. They aren t blistered or in random spots they are in almost identical spots on each side of my mouth. The marks are towards the back of my mouth (two marks), then there is a mark on both side a little more towards my front teeth but on the sides of the roof of my mouth, and then there is a big mark right above the roof of my mouth. They all hurt very bad even when I just drink water or eat soft foods. I have eaten foods I have eaten before the only thing different is I maybe inhaled something while sanding something.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely aphthous ulcer. Deficiencies of vitamins like B complex or vitamin C can cause this also. Applying gels containing choline salicylate like zytee RB gel might be helpful also. Avoid hot and spicy foods for some days also. It usually take one week to recover fully.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
