Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would like to rule out mucosal vitiligo, wherein the mucosal side of the lip becomes pinkish in color.

I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Various treatment options could be topical steroids and topical tacrolimus solution twice daily for 2-3 months. Response is slow, therefore patience and compliance is the key.

Non-responders to medicines can go in for tattooing and for skin grafting.

regards
take care
