OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
The possibilities are a fibrosed vaginal scar subsequent to delivery, vaginal cyst, vaginal septum as a result of faulty suturing after labor or vaginal tears which have formed scar and prolapse. A definite diagnosis can only be made through a speculum and bi-manual exam by a specialist followed by a sonogram. While a scar, septum or cyst can be removed surgically and repaired, a prolapse needs medical management, fitness exercises and surgery if needed. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
