What Could Cause A Sharp Pain In The Heal Of The Left Foot?
have a sharp pain in the bottom of the heal on left foot. pain came on slowly at first. could not step on it after a coupe hours. feels better with heat then cold and elevated but pain is continuous. did no damage to foot, no jumps, stomps, ect. foot was fine all day till that moment.

Hi...
Your heel pain due to irritated structure in the foot..could be a bursae or Plantar fascia... It usually occurs following a prolonged overuse...and bad footwear... I suggest you to continue Ice frequently on that painful heel area...once in every 2 hours for 15 mins... Gently knead on your calf muscle it's better if somebody else does this for you.. Gently stetch your calf and foot.. Look for footwear made of MCR and wear them as these give good cushion and support.. If possible get your foot analysed by a podiatrist or a physiotherapist and have a arch support done for you.. I would like you to do rehab once the pain is relieved...like clawing the toes..moving ankle up and down in a bucket of water... Ankle stabity and strength exercises...
