What Could Cause Chronic Constipation After A Colonoscopy And Severe Abdominal Pain?

I am having pain in my abdomen and wonder if it could be gall bladder. I had a colonoscopy July 6 and have had consti-pation since. I fact it was 11 days before I had a bowel movemet. I may be somewhat back to normal now but have this terrific pain in my upper abdomen.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to constipation and bloating.

I recommend using over the counter option like Miralax for constipation.

I also recommend using daily probiotics.

For the abdominal pain, you can use Buscopan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
