What Could Cause Constant Headache, Pain In Neck And Back With Feeling Of Air In Head While Bending?
I ve had a headache, my neck and back hurts and this has been constant for 3 weeks now. It feels like its a lot of air in my head. Bending down increases this feeling. I am scared. I have an appt tomorrow, but wanted to know if you can give me any information.
When you bend down you increase the fluid pressure within the head which is why the feeling of the air in your head increases with hip flexion. So long as you are not suffering from weakness in a limb or severe symptoms such as uncontrollable nausea or vomiting then, there is really nothing to be worried about.
Your symptoms could be those of a migraine headache or a headache due to cervical spinal column arthritis causing what we call radiculopathy which can cause the headache.
These are quite treatable and I'm sure the doctor will direct you to get either an X-ray or CT scan of the neck to look at some of these things. You should relax and know that you are not likely to be suffering from any serious symptoms that can't be dealt with successfully.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
