She says that sometimes the burp gets got in her throat and she can't get it out, she is also saying that her throat hurts and her chest. Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The cause of belching issue is likely to be due to gastritis and reflux of acid into the oesophagus( Gastroesophageal reflux). It's quite common in children after upper respiratory infection.
Short term use of proton pump inhibitor and gastric motility promoting drugs may be beneficial.

Take care

Hi,
As a side effect of the medications given for flu, there is disturbance of intestinal flora , gastritis, stomatitis & so-
- problem in digestion,,B complex deficiency , acidity, weakness are common after cure.
These in turn cause belching, ulcers n mouth&throat,weakness-& so pain in chest
The best way to support her is by giving her complex with( lacto bacillus preparation), give her light & easily digestible nutritive diet & rest, Digestive enzymes may be added.
As far as children are concerned, it's always better to get a specialist's guidance for management.
Thanks.
