What Could Cause Critical Rise In Blood Pressure After Delivery?

Good evening sir, on 2nd of July 2014 my wife she gave birth to an baby girl, at time of delivery she was suffering from high blood pressure, so doctor they advice us, that we have to do scissoring just now other wise, baby will be in trouble. so we did, by the grace of god baby was good, but after few mins of delivery when doctor they were doing stitching, suddenly my wife s blood pressure got high up to 210. so we kept her in ICU. 2 days she was in ICU on 03/07/14 & 04/07/14. after that doctor s they shifted her in to normal room. on 06/07/2014 they gave discharge to my wife. suddenly after 2 days, it means on 08/07/2014, she was suffering from cough & loose motion. we visited to hospital, they told to keep it in ICU. now she is in ICU. I am really very confuse sir, what to do, why she is facing again and again such type of problem, why Blood Pressure is going high again and again. doctors they told you have to X-ray of her chest. just now we have removed X-ray. waiting for the report. Please suggest me sir, what are the chances & why she is facing such type of problem. Thanking you Santosh

Hi santosh...if your wife's bp raised due to pregnancy only then it should come to normal level after delivery .. But it may take time up to 6 wks...on 8 the day she had complaint of cough & loose motions which indicates hospital acquired infection rather than high bp...so don't worry let the reports come...it will clear the picture...
