HI! I had a caudal epidural for my lower back and sciatic pain almost a month ago. Apart from the pain I have in my back and legs at the moment, my worry is excessive facial hair growth. I am 33 and mother of 18 months old. Is it possible to know what exactly is causing this problem? I had very light facial hair and now there are new black thick hair growing very fast. Please respond.
For excessive facial hairs. It may be called hypertrichosis on face. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
Also, consult the gynaecologist because it may be due to polycystic ovary disease (PCOD).
After a thorough examination and investigations, your doctor might come to the exact cause of hypertrichosis and accordingly he may give proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
