What Could Cause Extreme Sensitivity To Light While Not Taking The Contact Lenses Out Indicate?

I have no redness to my eye, it looks fine, but it s sensitivity to light is impeccable. I wear contacts but have been taking them out regularly. I only received this problem when I didn t take my contacts out enough, however I ve been taking them out every night. What s wrong?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having sensitivity of the eyes when you won't remove the contact lenses and wear them continuously.
This is because of edema of the cornea as a result of hypoxia caused by continuous wearing of contact lenses.
This should not be followed as this can cause damage to the cornea resulting in corneal infiltration and infection.
Hence I advice you to follow safe practices while wearing contact lenses.
