What Could Cause Foul Smell And Taste In Mouth Without Acid Reflux?
I have a foul smell or taste in my mouth after I breath out or swallow, and cough. It is so bad it wakes me up in the night. I am not on any medication, I don t eat spicy foods and I have good oral care. What could it be? I also don t have acid reflux if that helps?!?!?!
Understanding your concern. As per your query foul smell and taste in mouth without acid reflux is mainly because of sinus infection or upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to dental related cause such as bleeding of gums, decayed tooth or infection in gums. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing and flossing. Take antiseptic mouth wash such as Listerine. Visit Dentist once and get it examined. If it is due to dental related cause go for scaling and cleaning of oral cavity. If it is due to infection in sinuses visit ENT specialist once and start proper course of antibiotics.
