Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in arm pit can be due to painful lymph node or musculoskeletal pain.
Presence of lump in the arm pit is suggestive of lymph node.
Clinical assessment and aspiration cytology of the lump is required.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment.
In aspiration, cells are aspirated from the lump, spread on a slide and stained with appropriate stains.
These cells are examined microscopically to know the nature of the lesion.
Treatment will be decided after receiving the result of investigation.

Thanks and take care
