What Could Cause Intense Pain In Thigh?

I have pain in my right front thigh, today id the most severe and I cannot bend. Any ideas please? This pain has had varying levels of intensity for the last 3 months but about 10 minutes ago I bent forward to pick up a dropped paper. Wow, it hurts.

Avoid weightlifting.

Have tab. aceclofenac + thiocolchicoside two times a day.

Apply hot packs.
