What Could Cause Mild Yellowish Discharge From The Right Ear?

I have a mild yellowish discharge from my right ear. The discharge is mild in the sense it does not ooze out of the ear. When I use cotton swabs ( ear buds ) inside the ear canal I can see the yellowish discharge. There is absolutely no pain and discomfort. In the mornings I feel heaviness and wetness in the ears that I feel the urge to use ear buds. When I use ear buds in the ear canal it feels good because of the itching in the ear canal. I read a lot of articles in the internet about ear infections. My hearing the affected ear is slightly less as diagnosed by Pure Tone Audiometry and Audiogram tests. The diagnosis is mild conductive hearing loss in my right (affected) ear. The ENT doctor said that there is granulation of the ear drum and said further diagnosis is possible only after endoscopy to assess the middle ear ( tympanic membrane and the ossicles ). What could be the diagnosis ? Based on my study I zeroed in the following :1. Cholesteatoma 2. Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media 3. Myringitis Granulosa Any inputs on this will be appreciated.
