What Could Cause Mole-like Spots On My Palms After Taking Antibiotics For Vaginal Candidiasis?

Hi, i had vaginal candidiasis. i had antibiotics and nsaids as prescribed by my doc. i took antibiotics for 5 days. on the 5th day i developed mole like spots on the palms of both the hands. what were they? still, i fee vaginal fungi has returned. what to do?

Hello,

You are advised to take of your hygiene. Take bath regularly and clean your private area with an antibacterial soap. Wear soft, loose fitting cotton clothes. Change immediately the clothes on which you sweat, don't keep wearing it. Wash it before wearing it again. Apply ointment Clotrimazole and Miconazole on the area affected. A course of antifungal medication Fluconazole needs to be taken.

If the infection is resistant or recurring, you need to repeat the course of antifungal medicines. Control certain food like cheese, lactose milk, alcoholic beverages like beer, wine, etc. Do not take sugary food or fruits that are high in sugar like bananas, grapes, mangoes, etc. For mole like spots on palms, you can consult a Dermatologist. Get it tested to rule out melanoma.
