My brother has fragile x. He had been ill. And became dehydrated. Which caused unsual behavior. Hurting himself and fearing someone was after him. Took him to the ER. Found nothing but dehydration. I ve of fluids and sent him home. Family Dr. Felt with his mental disability uninary tract infection could be in his prostate and cause unsual behavior. Prescribed bactrim. And later due to his behavior worsened. The prescribed Risperdal . Seemed to help. But as of late has had mood swings and has been angry. For no apparent reason. He has seen a physciatrist. For his meds. And has been on citalopram for years. Not sure about him taking rispidol. What could be causing his mood swings.
