What Could Cause Mottled Strange Discolouring On Arms And Legs ?

we just picked our 10 year old daughter up from school complaining of a stomach ache, but what has us worried is that she has a mottled, strange discoloring on her arms and legs. apparently she hasn t eaten anything out of the ordinary or taken anything. she is on ritalin for 1 year and nothing else.

You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause.
There could be several causes for that abnormal discoloration of the skin. Is your daughter passing urine and stool normally? Is there any associated itching?
