What Could Cause Nausea And Burping After Eating?

Went out to dinner with my family and ate way too much. At first I just thought I just felt crummy bc I ate too much but then I started feeling nauseas and kept burping, but no chest pain or acid reflux. Felt a little better the next day but when I ate dinner again it happened again. What could this be? It's never happened before.

Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, it is due to overeating and that may cause the dyspepsia with too much acid secretion in gastric region, if this has just happened for the first time then it may not need any treatment but fruit salt can be tried. If the symptoms persist then it can be managed with tab Omeprazole with tab Domperidone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
