Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Cause Nausea, Pain In Stomach, Gas, Bloating And Fatigue With All Tests Being Normal?
I have had stomach pains, nausea, gas and bloating and general tired for weeks, dr says he thinks gallbladder is problem. Today have HIDA scan, upper GI and ultrasound and all come back normal so he is done checking for things. My daughter had all normal function tests and gallbladder was diseased on inside, where do I go now?
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and the inability to pick anything abnormal on examination. This information is suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome if the symptoms have been going on for up to 12weeks.. I will suggest that you get followed up by a gastroeneterologist on this. The good news is that, beyond the symptoms, there is no permanent damage to the body or its organs. I would also like you to do some more reading from a trusted page below: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/irritable-bowel-syndrome/basics/definition/con-20024578?p=1
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
