What Could Cause Of Pale Skin And Dark Circles Under Her Eye ?
Small child with pale skin and dark circles under her eye What could cause my daughter to have plae skin and dark circle under her eyes? She is not very big, is picky about what she eats but she has lots of enery.

hi,there are two reasons for dark circle & paleness 1- may be she is anemic. her heamoglobin will be less then 9gm 2-she is not taking adequate diat

Pale skin may be due to anemia, undernutrition, hypoprotenemia.
Dark circles unde eyes are marker of allegric disorder,
Allergic shiners is the other name for dark circles.
Look for any Transverse crease over the nose due to allergic salute.
These findings are seen in allergic rhinitis and conjunctiivitis.

give her healthy green vegetables and fruits and ask her to drink lots of water,take adequate sleep.all these with consultation of pediatrician and ophthalmologist will help

My step-son is autistic and I've been taking courses on nutrition therapy and it seems that difficulty processing polyphenols can cause dark circles around the eyes, red cheeks, and hyperactivity. There are other symptoms that occur in more extreme cases such as seizures. Artificial coloring and flavors might be a trigger. Polyphenols are also present in fruits although some more than others. Apples can be a problem. Pears are better, etc. Maybe see if they improve without artificial colors and flavors or apples? Best of luck!
