What Could Cause Onset Of Periods After IPill Intake (two Menstrual Cycle / Month)?
Is it possible , that one can have periods twice in a month. As already in the starting of May month , I got my periods , then I had unprotected intercourse , after taking i pill I m again getting my periods. Is there any big problem , should I need to consult my doctor ??

I have gone through your query & understand your concern.
iPill is an emergency contraceptive,having high dose of hormones,aimed at postponing ovulation, thus avoiding unplanned pregnancy.
In case it is taken after ovulation-
-with no chance of conception ,the hormone bring about withdrawal bleeding,thus there is extra bleeding in one cycle.
- taken after ovulation has already occurred,sex within 36 hours of ovulation-conception resulted - In such the extra bleeding can be an implantation bleeding.
* observe your next cycle,( with contraceptive protection ,other than oral pill)-
- mostly it will be normal. If it's not you need treatment for irregular
menses,under a Gynaecologist's guidance.
- You may not get the period in case you have conceived, this can be diagnosed by urine/blood pregnancy test. If it turns positive, get the pregnancy terminated to avoid foetal abnormality.
