What Could Cause Pain In Calf And Archilles Tendon While Being On Citalopram And Propecia?
Hi My son is 23 years old and 6 foot 4 and 100kgs and he has been unable to play rugby for 18months as he has pain in the calf area and in particular in the archilles tendon it was in one leg and now is in the other. He has physio now and then and anti-inflammatory tablets help a bit but pain returns pretty much the next day. He is on Citalopram and Propecia. His grandfather had Polymiralga at 75 and and allergy to alcohol just to give you a bit of background thanks
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it appears that it may be the poly arthritis, or fibromyalgia,or may be the rheumatoid arthritis. I advise you to consult a rheumatologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically. Calcium, and vitamin D supplements and pain killers. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
