What Could Cause Prominent Penile Vein Post Erection?

Hi ! I have a vein on my penis which starts from the shaft from right and goes across from the middle to the left side of my penis.Before i didn't had this vein it is very prominent during erection.Is there anyway to get rid of this vein ,it's very much bothering me.What could be the cause of appearance of this vein ??
